Gary L. Lane, CPA

Gary grew up in Lubbock. He graduated from Texas Tech in August 1978, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He began his accounting career in September 1978, when he joined Mason Warner & Company. Gary became a shareholder in the firm in 1991, and currently serves as president and managing shareholder.

Gary specializes in many areas of taxation including farm and ranch, entity planning, small business, closely held corporations, S and C corporations, individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, non-profits, estates and trusts. In addition, Gary has his general securities registration and insurance license and assists MWC clients with their financial planning needs. Gary is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Texas Society of CPA's and the Lubbock Chapter of CPA's. Gary has served on the tax curriculum committee of the Texas Society of CPA's. Gary has served on many local non-profit boards and has chaired the Walk for Diabetes sponsored by the local American Diabetes Association. He has served as a coach for local youth baseball, football and basketball teams. He is active in his church and has served in many offices including as an elder.

Gary and his wife have a daughter and a son. Gary enjoys all sports and collects sports memorabilia. In his spare time he enjoys working in the yard and watching the grass grow.
