Getting
your student on a budget
You
can pack a lot of STUFF in a very small space if you organize well.
All your stuff is not gonna fit in your dorm room. Here's a clue:
if it doesn't fit in your car, it probably won't fit in your dorm
room either. Does your roommate have one you can share?
Be
aware of your school's requirements for health examinations and
vaccination requirements. Some schools are recommending the
Meningococcal vaccination
for incoming freshmen. Some schools require a complete physical
before admission, especially private colleges. Check with the athletic
department of your school if your child will participate in sports.
Don't wait until the last minute to schedule an appointment with
your doctor. You might not be able to get in before it's time to
leave for school.
